Mr. Prasad Kariyawasam, the former Vice-President of the UN General Assembly...

...former Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka, former Sri Lankan Ambassador to the United States, High Commissioner for Sri Lanka to Trinidad & Tobago, Ambassador (designate) to Mexico, India, Afghanistan and Bhutan as well as much more, Mr. Prasad Kariyawasam is an experienced diplomat that will be speaking at SMUN 2022 in our opening ceremony. We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Kariyawasam for taking the time out of his day to speak in our MUN and can't wait for all of you to hear what he has to say!

Ms. Zaahirah Muthy, speaker at the UN Global Compact...

With many awards under her belt such as an ambassador for women in Africa, a toastmasters speaker and a UAE Golden Visa Holder, Ms. Zaahirah Muthy is well established in her field.


She is an artist at heart, using her art and curations to spread social messages to the world with over 30 exhibition across the world.

Ms. Mubarakka Lokhandwala Ghadiyali, an ambassador to the UN University of Peace.

The first Asian woman to receive the LCGI Award from City and Guilds in the UK, Lokhandwala Ghadiyali is a global figure in the progression of human rights.


She is a global ambassador for the United Nations, a Global Ambassador to the International Delphiic Council and is the Director of Operations of Al Baraqa. 

Mr. H. E. Hitesh Thawani, the an observer to the ECOSOC Committee - United Nations.

Educated in the American University Dubai, Mr. H. E. Hitesh Thawani is a goodwill ambassador to the United Nations with aims to eradicate Hunger and Acute Malnutrition globally, having started his work in the UN 19 months ago. He also operates many award winning businesses in the UAE and is a leader in the business world domestically.
